You’re not obligated to accept any repairer they nominate for you, so be sure to let them know that Rangiora Collision Centre is your preferred repairer. We’re a licensed collision repairer with the Collision Repair Association (CRA), which assures you that we’re reputable, competent, and reliable. Plus, we offer a full guarantee on all the work we undertake on your vehicle, while it’s under current ownership.

Once an insurance claim is made, simply contact us to book an appointment. We’ll also provide free pick up of your vehicle If undrivable to make things even easier. We’ll then submit an assessment to your insurance company, and once repairs are authorised, we’ll order the necessary parts and get to work. You’ll be kept informed of your vehicle’s progress throughout the process, and any applicable excess payments will be due at this time. When the repairs are complete, your vehicle will be available for pickup and delivery.

It’s also important to know your legal obligations if you’re involved in an accident. If you collide with another vehicle, you must stop, see if anyone is hurt, and render assistance if necessary. You’ll also need to give your name and address to a police officer if one is present and report the accident to the police within 24 hours if someone is hurt. If you damage someone else’s vehicle or property, you must advise the owner or the police within 48 hours. For minor accidents, be sure to exchange names, addresses, insurance companies, and registration numbers with the other driver.
